An extremely icy journey, or almost...

The main inspiration for the game was The Binding of Isaac, and the idea was to create a roguelike with upgrades based on freezing.

One of the challenges faced was the difficulty of building the code from scratch (since generating rooms/enemies/bosses and such seems less complex, when in fact it is quite the opposite, and the lack of projects with similar ideas to study codes became a hindrance haha).

In the end, time made it very challenging to complete the project with all the ideas implemented in the game; the art was there, but the programming was not...

Uma jornada extremamente gelada, ou quase...

A inspiração principal do jogo foi The Binding of Isaac, e a ideia era fazer um roguelike, com upgrades baseados em congelar.

Um dos problemas enfrentados foi a dificuldade de criar um código do zero (visto que a geração de salas/inimigos/bosses e afins parece menos complexo, quando na verdade é até demais, e a falta de projetos com ideias próximas para estudar códigos acabou estando em falta kk)

Por fim, o tempo dificultou muito a finalização do projeto com todas as ideias implementadas dentro do jogo, a arte existia, a programação não...

It feels like a nokia version of binding of isaac to me. Even with the limited scope it was a fun challenge to beat. I beat the boss by getting lucky and seeing him on my first room. Otherwise it becomes harder because you loose hp in rooms. Having this game on the nokia 3310 would have been amazing!

well, I really liked your review, I really created the game with the limitations of the Nokia, but at the end of the game the last thing I thought was “what would this look like on the Nokia 3310?”, it’s very interesting to rate it this way

Smooth gameplay! I hope you take the time to extend the game after the jam! Some feedback: Sometimes when entering a room you get hit by an enemy before you get a chance to even move, which feels unfair. I also think the boss could be a bit tougher. Right now you can start shooting as soon as you enter the room and kill it before it even attacks

hey buddy, thanks for the feedback! yeah… the rooms need a nerf! (immediately lmao) and the boss ended up like that due to lack of time, I tried to do it as quickly as possible, and I ended up not thinking much about his difficulty (my bad).
